Fantasy Park Kids Bowling, Prague 4
I came across this family oriented bowling alley with barriers and balls for kids, when covering the new Indoor Playground at Novodvorska Plaza. I just popped in with Marcus to see what they have and we stayed for several games. Sometimes I am wondering if my boys will not be spoiled rotten allowing them everything. But the way Marcus was looking at the balls and pins saying “please” made me soft hearted. I should toughen up.
I was thrilled and Marcus even more, to discover that they have very light balls made especially for kids. Considering my boys are still so small they could finally enjoy a bit of a REAL adult game. All of the 8 lanes at this bowling place have the possibility of side barriers. They offer bowling lessons for free and also in English as some of the staff speak English.
The best time for families or mums with kids is to visit here around midday. The afternoons and evenings are usually packed and require reservation. What I did mind though was the smell of cigarette smoke. It wasn’t much, but bothered me. So yes the whole place is a smoking place and in the noon hours you can still smell it a bit from the previous night but possibly many non-smokers will not think its a big deal.
It is not only a bowling alley, but a whole indoor amusement park. Apart from the bowling there are several Video Games and 6 pool tables at the entrance as well as a cafe area. They offer to organise all kinds of company and private parties and on their web pages there are several picture galleries from various parties. Dads may appreciate the: “Wet T-Shirt” or “Women fights in Mud pool” contests and I finally found a place where they organise “pyjama parties” which I’ve always wanted to go to.

DIRECTIONS: By Metro and Bus: Red line C to the station Kačerov or line B to the station - Smíchov terminal, Then by bus: 106, 170, 196, 198, 199, 203, 513 to stop Jílovská or Sídliště Novodvorská. By Car: Exit from Jizni spojka (south connection road) in the direction of Krč. At the intersection exit right to Vídeňská Street and drive up the hill passing a Shell petrol station. Turn right to Zalesí Street at the Tomayerś Hospital intersection. Then straight ahead via Zálesí Street up to the OMV petrol station and then right to Novohradská Street. Novohradská Plaza is on the right hand side approx. 1 km ahead.
