Fashion Styling Workshop, Prague 2
Have you ever watched those makeover shows where clueless women such as me are shown around by a stylist who effortlessly throw together a series of creative looks which enhance and flatter. Well here in Prague you have the opportunity to attend a workshop with one of the UK’s best known stylists Claire Ginzler. Claire has worked at London and Paris Fashion Weeks and on cult British shows How To Look Good Naked, Ten Years Younger and The Clothes Show.
For many, entering a fashion boutique can be bewildering when confronted by many racks of clothing, especially if you have no idea which styles will suit your body and what colours will work best with your colouring. So the opportunity to learn from one of the best is something that many readers would find appealing. Claire also lectures at London College of Fashion and St Martins College thus content and advice should be very thorough and professional. Plus there will be a model on hand to demonstrate key looks.
Topics to be covered at the workshop will be:
Foundation: Correct underwear and control wear to make the best of your body
Body Shapes: Find out your body shape and what clothes best suit it
Colours: Work out your colour palette that will suit your body shape and colouring
Jeans: Get the right denim for your shape
Summer Wardrobe: How best to dress for Spring/Summer, key trends, dressing for work, general summer clothing and beachwear
Accessories: How to best accessorise an outfit plus key trends in accessories
Wardrobe Management: How to edit your wardrobe, combine clothes, what is missing and the hidden treasures we all have in our wardrobe
There is also the opportunity for one lucky participant to win a free wardrobe management session with Claire worth 8500CZK. You can choose from either a morning or afternoon workshop but keep in mind that reservation is essential prior to March 1. DIRECTIONS: BY METRO: Take the Yellow line C to Karlovo Namesti and exit at Palackeho Namesti, the studio is a 5 to 10 min walk. BY TRAM: Take tram numbers 3, 7, 16 or 21 to Vyton or 4, 10 or 14 to Palackeho Namesti or 18 or 24 to Albertov. BY CAR: A few paid parking spots are in Na Hrobsi and a few around the corner in Vyserhradska, plenty of paid parking is in Hlavova, Albertov - near the University.
