Kids in Motion: Drama & Singing for Kids, Prague 3

If your kids are between 14 months and 6 years you may like to consider introducing them to singing, drama and movement classes. Kids in Motion are centrally based in Vinohrady and cater to the younger set by offering three specially developed programs in English, led by native speaking teachers. Classes run every Friday morning and will be starting up on 16 January through to 13 March.
Toddlers aged 14 months to 2 years are led by Maylia, a Canadian who has been teaching and creating puppet shows for Class Acts for the past two years. Parents and children sing songs, rhymes and play simple movement games. The session runs from 9.30am till 10am.
Older Toddlers aged 2 to 3.5 are led by Josie, a native of London. They explore elements of music, art and storytelling through song, dance, chants, nursery rhymes and puppetry. Classes emphasise fun learning, parent-child cooperation and a supportive community. The session runs from 10.15 till 11am followed by the puppet show at 11.15am.
Drama Class for kids aged 3.5 to 6 are led by Leah and Barbara. Kids create stories through drama, movement, music and art. Activities focus on building cooperation and trust within the group. The session runs from 10.15 till 11am followed by the puppet show at 11.15am.
Classes are held at the very pleasant RC Palecek Play Centre in Flora, very close to Palac Flora (please note that the english version of the website has not been updated to show the new address). The Playroom is open before and after class which allows both the kids and adults to socialise. The session ends with an interactive puppet show staged by the teachers and performed for the children’s enjoyment.
There are nine classes in total and they cost 1080 CZK per child (120 CZK per lesson) for the early toddler class or 1350 CZK per child (150 CZK per lesson) for the older toddler and drama classes.
