About three years ago The Little Mole used to host a Monday afternoon get together for moms. It was a chance to get to know each other and for the little ones to play indoors or in their playground when the weather was nice. I met some of my best friends there and once I even spent time with the baby of a famous singer and actress.

Do you remember when the movie Mission Impossible was being filmed in Prague? One of the main actresses from the movie had just had a baby boy and he traveled with his parents to Prague. He attended the Little Mole play dates a couple of times. When she grows up, I will tell my older daughter that she used to play with famous people.

So you never know who you will meet, maybe it will be your soon-to-be best friend or you might just catch up with old friends all while your little ones enjoy playing in a safe environment created for their age group.

Recently The Little Mole Kindergarten re-launched their Playdates every Saturday morning from 10am to 12pm. It’s a perfect time after you’ve finished breakfast and you’re looking for an activity to burn some tots’ energy before lunch time and their nap.

There is a 60czk fee per child or 100czk for two children, this includes coffee for parents and water plus entry to the indoor play area with many different toys and games and also the outdoor fenced playground (including trampoline). The playdates are most suitable for babies and toddlers but siblings up to 5 years will find the visit just as enjoyable. That said, all parents, siblings, grandparents and babysitters are all welcome.

We recently visited the school on a Saturday morning, and my younger kid – now at the age for these type of playdates – had a great morning. She played nonstop and even made a friend on her own. I had a nice morning because I didn’t have to worry about her being bored or having to keep an eye on her all the time as the space is one big room with age appropriate toys.

Make sure to bring indoor shoes for your child and for yourself (socks will do) and there are children’s toilets as well as nappy changing facilities on-site. The Little Mole is located inside Riegrovy Sady Park and has a fenced playground with plenty of space for picnic blankets when the weather gets nicer.
